Hello all. I have a 2017 RTL. Radio has no navigation, which I want. I just bought an aftermarket pioneer radio with appleplay with wiring harness, steering wheel control, and back up retain hookup. I was thinking it would be easy with wiring kits, but now it seems more like a pain and not that simple.

Question #1 - has anybody changed the factory radio to one with navigation? Is there a lot of connections to be made other than the wiring kits? Any issues doing it? Tip? How long should it take?

Question #2 - If I was to buy a used radio with navigation from a wrecked gen 2, would it be much easier to swap out the head without having to mess with wires? Would the existing plugs all be compatible with existing radio?

Thanks

Question #1: Yes it's been done several times search this section of the forum.

Question#2: You are missing several "harnesses" related to the Navi Unit, the first option is easier
