On my 2020 RTL-E, a slight movement of the steering wheel OR a light touch on the brake pedal will also defeat the start/stop function...

If you stop and the engine shuts down, then let off enough on the brake for the engine to restart, does the vehicle move forward?

To me it feels like you have to go to past 2/3 of the brake pedal travel to get the start/stop system to activate, so it's pretty trivial to lift off just enough to get the engine to kick back on without rolling forward. If I can see other lights and anticipate my green light in advance, I like to do just that to get the engine going a couple of seconds before hand. Not terribly sure it's worth the effort though.
