Our two early 70's pickups, which are approximately the same size as our Ridgeline, make 10-12 MPG, we are very content with our Ridgelines fuel mileage of over double these figures! ;)

Currently at 19,500 on my 2019 RTL.
Truck is used in a construction environment.
Loaded with tools in the back seat area, trunk, bed, and front passenger seat.
Do pretty much 60 city 40 highway driving, maybe 50 50..
When in city, use eco mode.
When in highway I turn eco mode off.
Highest mileage on highway was 32 MPG. Average speed on highway 71.
Average MPG 23.9.
Completely satisfied with MPG and never expected anything dramatic.
Didn't even consider MPG when I bought the truck.
Average of 23.9 is better than I would have imagined for a truck.
I'm not a conservative driver by any means, but not overly aggressive or lead footed.
As long as the truck keeps those stats and causes no issues I will be happy to keep it
for 20 or more years like my last truck (F150 8 cylinder). Probably will be my last
vehicle purchase.
We’ll said! 👍

I wonder if the squared off, (more trucky), front end that many prefer has anything to do with a possible sacrifice in fuel mileage?
