Updated to some 245/70/17 TerrainContact tires with the KMC Nomad wheels this weekend. Much appreciation to this forum in helping me make a wheel and tire decision, definitely happy with the results.

I think you made a good decision. 17s are the the way to go IMO.
Do you know the weight difference, and diameter difference vs the stock set up? How does it feel to you?

17" KMC nomads are 25.93lbs. OEM are 28-29ish lbs?

Firestones are 29.6x9.8 @ 28lbs
tire size says the A/T's are 30.5x9.8 @ 34.8lbs, but the Conti site says 31.1x9.8 @ 35lbs....strange.

Looks great with the new shoes, I like it a lot.
My 1 small complaint about the rims is the KMC lettering, I wish they didn't do that, probably just my hang up, but I love the look.

You are right on Hondopark, I saw a thread on here of setups and someone weighed the tires and wheels out to be 27.5 lb/wheel + 31 lb/tire = 58.5 lb for stock. So that compared to the 61lb of the new setup. I haven't really noticed any difference so far in regards to acceleration.

The ride quality is just as good and any added noise is negligible. I would say the overall handing feels better, more rigid. I came from a WRX so that's my most recent vehicle to compare to.

For the KMC on the wheels, I agree on that. I'm actually wrapping the truck today so I'll probably custom cut some vinyl to go over the KMC to match.

Any rubbing at full lock, forward and backward?

I went to a parking lot and locked it both directions, forward and reverse and did not notice any rubbing. This was on a level surface.

I got the wrap on so I'll get some photos at some point. I also noticed that the KMC wheel caps have screws on the back to remove the KMC text so it will be easy to paint or wrap the lettering.
