Just wanted to add the death of the front pads...they did so well and put up a fight. But we def killed them and beat them. The shims melted off the pad and were peeling away from the backing plate because it got so hot. They were EBC yellows. Probably about 60% life when we started.

So been a bit busy with the house and getting the lemons car back and running. But here is some new pix. Next race is March 9-10 up at sonoma raceway. Weather is going to suck. After a lot of fiddling and trial and error, I go tthe 300zx brakes installed and working. So hopefully wont have melting brakes this time. Now just to hope the engine doesn't melt down.

WE FINISHED!!!!!!! A very wet drama filled weekend but the car held together and we crossed the finish line. Not sure what place etc due to a hectic last couple hours but I will add details in a few days when everything settles down.

Unfortunately not. Between drama at the last race and responsibilities/funds I have not participated anymore. I was storing the car then they took it to autocross events and broke it then having me fix it, so I eventually said no more. It raced one more race at button willow and finished then they let other people use it and broke the rear end and some other stuff is the last i heard of it.

I want to build another one to daily drive. Would be so fun. But everyone thinks those celicas are worth too much nowadays

That's a shame. We are about at the time of year I expected some updates, but group things are difficult to keep going long term. Hope all is well @S.T.U.V
