Seems like a great deal? How much did you pay for this conversion??

I paid about the same back in September. You really can't beat the price especially for 20's. The price was the final deciding factor for me, I was thinking of going 18's but most after market 18's were twice the price or more than the Camaro 20's.

Go for it man easily the best mod I've done , truck just looks sweet with this setup. In the first 2 1/2yrs I owned my rl I never once got a compliment on my truck now with the wheels and tires its at least a couple times a week.
Is this what you are talking about?

I'd like more information on this, I didn't know you could use Camaro wheels on the RL.

Any issues at all or perfect fit?

Personally I got mine from Discount tire direct with my tires mounted they were a bit more at $580 for the wheels.

Fitment will depend on tire size, 285/50/20 will absolutely not fit without a lot of grinding of the pinch welds and removing the mud flaps. I had to essentially grid the pinch weld flat with the wheel well. 265/50/20 will fit much easier and will likely not require any grinding of the pinch welds.

Just to give you an idea of what they look like.

Jonb, are you the silver RL from jax? I used to live down in st Augustine!
Does anyone know the load capacity on these Camaro wheels?

not listed anywhere, you think this would be an actual concern with the RL? I really doubt it being they're alloys. nice weight though, 15.7lbs per wheel is awesome.

I was trying to find this out myself, seems like maybe somebody on a Camaro forum would know. The wheels are forged aluminum if that matters any and the 2012 Camaro's curb weight is 3,780 lbs vs 4,494 for an 06 Ridgeline. I bet there is a chance that some Chevy dealerships would be selling "take-offs" for a good deal.

I think the one big difference would be that the Camaro is not designed to hold the payload that the Ridgeline is.

Yes that's me.

Load rating is anyone's guess a quick search turns up 2200lbs and 1543lbs. Seems to be different by manufacturer. My guess is around 1600lbs based of the camaro forums and load ratings for most aftermarket wheels for the SS.

What type of lug nuts do you guys use with these wheels?

Those are the OEM specs. These are aftermarket which could be of lesser quality. Just saying. Would only be a concern if you load the RL. At 20", the impact from road bumps would be greater putting more stress on wheels.

These are the lugs I'm using, basically camaro lugs and they work perfect.

I have a staggered Camaro set up on my Ridge ... 20x8 and 20x9 with 275/45R20 that fit perfectly.

Good luck with the sale. Best mod I have done with mine.

Installed! I went with the machine faced SS replicas with Terra Grapplers I may plastic dip them in the future to a gunmetal color. Undecided at this point. 20x8+40 on 265/50/20

Very nice! Glad to see the camaro wheel club is growing.
These are fine if you just use your RL as a daily driver, but I would not feel comfortable towing or driving with a bed full of gravel with these wheels. If anything I'd go w/the Range Rover wheels over Camaro wheels since they are designed for an off-road vehicle.
Yeah really don't plan to tow... Still have my oems as well for those type of situations like winter driving etc...

Did this setup fit ok without a bunch of grinding? It looks like you removed your mudflaps. Looks great, can you turn or go over bumps without significant rubbing? I'm pretty sure I will be getting a set of these for my black '08.
The mudflaps and that drivers side impact plate beneath the mudflaps had to be removed... If I spent some time modding them I could probably retrofit them back on. The tires barely graze the pinch. So any AT tire with the 265/50 is about maxed out with no lift, i doubt the lift helps much... I picked these wheels up off eBay for under 600 shipped which was a nice deal.
That's not a bad idea on the rover wheels..
