Happy 4th of July, everyone!

My 2006 with 152K miles runs great! The AC is as cold as ever. I am looking for advice on keeping it that way! Should I not mess with it, add some refrigerant, or have them perform an AC service?

I don't want to lose what I have, but, my truck is 9 years old with 152K miles. I have never had anything done to the AC system yet my AC is as cold as ever. It's one of those "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" or "service now so there is no repair later" conundrums. Should I do anything?

Thanks in advance!

Nothing to do that you can't do yourself. Make sure that the condensor (up front by the radiator) is clean with a hose and perhaps some spray cleaner, the air intake is free from leaves and debris, and your cabin filter is clean. Your AC system sounds like it is leak free and there really should be no reason to add oil or refrigerant.

Thanks, Eurban! I will do that. I religiously change my air filter every fall. Perhaps that has helped. Thanks again!
