Accessories Make it look better

One of the things I notice on the wall of accessories looks to be a replacement for the chrome front wing that sits just under the hood. That along with the fender wells and front end accessories will make this look much better. The question is going to be how much is it going to add to the price to add all this stuff.

These accessories and photos were posted after the Chicago Auto Show where the decked-out RL was rolled out. I don't think there is any replacement grille or chrome bar alternative on the display board (roof rails, cross bars, bug deflector, running boards -- yes). It looks like almost all of the available accessories were installed on this truck. Many members posted about the front wheel flares looking wrong because they are cut off at the front door edge. It's not as noticeable on dark colors but looks stupid on the silver truck.

Those finder flares looks like something an elementary student would come up with not a professional engineer.

Rumor has it that the wheel arch accents were hastily created after the Baja RL Race Truck debuted and Honda realized their stock RL needed to look "beefier". That could explain the crude results - note the flares aren't even flush with lower trim. It might also explain why Honda (apparently) decided to put oversized tires on the show trucks.

When I first saw that picture, I thought . . . I wonder what the Ridgeline would look like with every accessory EXCEPT the fender flares.

On the picture of the tailgate, there appears to be a key lock. I recall reading another thread expressing concern that the new RL wouldn't have one.

i'd like to see it with body colored flares.. that's one of my beefs on the mini cooper, looks awesome except for those flares...

Yes the trunk locks but some of us would like for the tailgate to lock as well and one of those pictures does make it look like it has a tailgate lock but in reality it is the camera and not a lock.

Those accessories sure do make it look better.

The bed if the Ridgeline just might be big enough for something like that. But having said that I would prefer a real camper over that.
