Took a rock yesterday and no damage. It was from a passing dump truck. Big and slow enough I could see it. I would think the acoustic windshield would be thicker but that may not mean anything either. I've also seen windshields crack within days of being installed and they replaced it for free.

Following distance sometimes plays a factor.
