My XM radio-plug in to the 12v jack and via USASPEC Aux Input jack has taken a dive. I have the factory OEM XM ready radio in my 2007 RTX. I'm tired of having XM crap hanging off my dash and don't want to pay the price Honda wants for the "plug in" XM component. Additionally I don't have an Aux In outside of the USA SPEC unit.

Anyone recommend an aftermarket XM OPERATIONAL (with subscription) radio with an Aux Input? I realize there needs to be an antenna, but I just want to be able to install this head unit, considering factory speakers and move on! Looking for simplicity, but I can tear into the dash if needed.

FYI, if you change out the factory head unit, you will lose the factory sub. I was looking at installing a Aftermarket HU until I realized I would need to install a small mono amp to keep the sub active.

I don't know if you are an android or apple guy, but some of the new HU's coming out have a bunch of apps that would allow you to play music from many sources. The cost could be offset by the money you would save from cancelling Sirius.

Factory sub? You mean sub woofer? No. I don't have it in the 2007 RTX.

Won't happen, I like XM/Serius and want to stay with it. That's a major factor and why I would change out the radio.
