Another Rim question

Hi everyone...I have a question about 3 different rims.

I have the chance to pick up a set of rims for my 2007 Ridgeline and any one I pick I can get all 4 for next to nothing (under 300).

The first rim is: ALY86084U45 BMW 320i, 328i, 335i, 428i, 435i Wheel Black #36116867126

The second rim is: ALY71326 BMW 535i GT, 550i GT, 640i, 650i, 740i, 750i, 760i Rim Silver #36116775403

The 3rd rim: ALY71785 Acura TL Wheel Silver Painted #42700TK4A01

First the technical aspects:
The Offset on the Acura Rim is similar to the Pilot Rim. 55mm. thats a little to much for the Ridgeline and may push the rim a little under the truck for a squeezed stance.

The other two have 30mm and 37mm offset.
#35mm-38mm offset for an 18 inch Rim is much better for the Ridgeline & 38mm to 45mm for the 17" wheels.

IMHO:
You have a black truck so I would go with the Black rims for your very own "black Edition" truck. Also I personally prefer more rubber between my rims and the road surface to keep a marginally softer ride than lower profile tires and of course to keep the pot hole demons away. I see the black are 17" wheels and have an offset that is closer to the required value for the ridgeline with the added extra wider stance look.

Thanks for the opinion christianrance. I was actually hoping those would work!

Last question that I don't understand how to accomplish. How would i know what tires fit these rims? It's the only thing I don't know how to figure that out?

If you are deciding on the 17" Black BMW rims.... those are 17" x 7.5 rims

First thing is to stick with the standard ridgeline tire for a 17" Rim and that would be 245/65/17.

For the 18" Rim, a 245/60/18 tire is recommended.

Those are pretty much the sizes recommended. Now there are other possibilities but you will have to check the forums to see what others have tried and and will fit under the ridgeline.

Here is a NICE chart done by a member.

Now in My Humble opinion.
For the 17"
265/60/17 would be the widest tire i would put on a 17x7.5 in rim. No speedo adjustment required.
275/60/17 would be at the limit but I would NOT be corning at high speeds with those.

And then looking at lowest cost tire ... ignoring all other factors such as brand etc (as that would only make the price go up)

245/65/17 Nokian eNTYRE 245/65R17XL ~ $89 each with shipping
265/60/17 Antares Comfort A5 265/65R17 ~ $110

245/60/18 Venezia Crossroad XT 245/60R18 ~ $103 - No speedo adjustment required.
255/60/18 Crosswind 4X4 HP 255/60R18 ~ $113
275/55/18 Kumho Ecsta STX KL12 275/55R18XL ~ $205

So it all depends on what you want to achieve and your budget.

#Warning# To date, only Honda technicians can correct your speedometer/odometer, and most are unwilling to do so. Changing tire sizes can alter your speed and mileage readings, as well as confusing the computer inputs required for speed calculations used by the VSA, VTM-4, and transmission shift points.

BTW If you do want to use the Acura Rims, you can buy 20mm wheel spacers with a center bore of 64.1mm. View this link.

Also Do note that the BMW wheels have center bores of 72.6mm So you would need to check if a set of center bore adapters will fit to center the rim. Here is a link to a set. and here is another link.
