cool title. right?:D

I was thinking of purchasing a LeBra cover my new RTL.

Do any of you have any PRO or CON thoughts on them?

I had one on my other car ( EscortGT) , but that was 20 years ago, I didnt think about protecting my vehicles finish as much as I wanted to just have a Bra on my car , because everybody else did.

Ridges with BRAS Pictures to share.? anyone?

Kind of a personal question for a newbie isn't it?? :D
Yup..both Ridgena and I wear black bras and have yet to find cons for either. ;)
As a matter of fact, we take off the bottom half leaving the top half on for Ridgena and call it her g-string.

Ridgeln mentioned he may go with the black door guards instead of the silver. He's got me thinking the same now. Could you possibly post that first shot with the silver door guards painted black? when you can. Thanks JC.

Put one on my '99 Accord. It's been in the trunk since the first time I checked under it in wet weather. The clearcoat started to get coudy! It cleared up once I took it off but I didn't like the prospects. It really would help if you drive at construction sites or that sort of thing. I followed an empty dumper out of a site in my Nissan. He kicked up some gravel and I got a big old paint chip. The Nissan was a beater so I didn't mind. Now that I think about it I might start carrying one around for that sort of thing. I wouldn't leave it on all the time. Any dirt gets under it and you have some rubbing to do!

I don't have a picture of the one done at that dealership I worked for but I worked this up to give you an idea what it looks like. I didn't care for it when it sat on the lot for 5 months and it seemed like no one else did also.

Doesn't look so good to me either. Any other ideas, ladyridge? :)

Used bras for years... you just have to be very diligent to wash and clean and condition the bra when it gets dirty. You must remove it atleast every few weeks and wash and clean any dirt on the vehicle and wax if needed and yes, a bra seems to fair better with lighter color paints...not dark paints so my experience is on gold, silver and white paint. I have lived in wet climates and now dry cold climates. You just have to love detailing your vehicle...otherwise I would not recommend a bra.:D

I had the 3m clear bra put underneath the black bra/nosemask.....kind of got tired of the look but left the hood portion or "g-string" as ladyridge referred to it as....so now the lower half sits lonely in the shed....

Thanks JC. You just saved me bucks on black guards. I guess I will go with the silver. What do you think now Frank? Plus, the black will come shinny, and won't blend with the rest of the matte finish black trim.

I told Ridgeln about this over the weekend. Some people like it but I found most people do not.
My pleasure Tex my friend!!

I opted not to; choosing the stone gard instead to protect against stone chips. I read somewhere any dirt or grit caught underneith can scratch the finish if the bra shifts around
