I was wondering if anyone was planning to attend the 2005 SEMA show in Vegas 11/1 to 11/4? If so are only vendors allowed or can anyone attend?
Thanks in advance,

Hi bonerep, My brother and I are registered and will be there November 3rd & 4th you can visit them at www.semashow.com Here is a quote from the registration page.
SEMA is a trade-only show, however, growing awareness and popularity of aftermarket products and technology have led to an increased interest in the show among those not qualified to attend. Thus, SEMA has increased screening procedures and heightened qualifications to ensure the exclusivity and professionalism of the event.
SEMA Show attendees will be able to view the extensive new products showcase featuring over 1,000 never-before seen innovative and cutting edge automotive accessories and see first-hand the world-debut of the 2006 Honda Civic Si. Attendees can also sit in on a series of special educational sessions focusing on supporting small-businesses. All sessions are free and do not require registration. A broad range of topics will be covered including: leadership skills, management, team building, communication, and merchandising.
I had to send them a copy of my business license, card and tax statements to get in. I was also informed not to bring a camera! Bummer! Hope this helps.:D

Ron,
Thanks... I guess I'll be gambling instead of attending the event:mad: :D
Be sure to look for Gary Flint at SEMA. He'll be there, so please send him kind words on behalf of the ROC. He was sure very generous with his time to give us an interview.

In related news, he'll be appearing November 11/1 (Tuesday night) at the Detroit SEA Section meeting and giving a presentation. Details are...

Detroit Section Meeting featuring the Honda Ridgeline.
More details to follow.
Location: San Marino Club, 1685 Big Beaver Road, Troy, MI 48083
5:30 - 6:30 p.m. Social Hour, 6:30 Dinner, 7:30 Presentation

Hey J.C. Public is not invited but log onto their web site and register your company. They will want you to send them a copy of your business license, card and tax statements to get in. It's $15.00 online or $50.00 at the door.
Give me a call on my cell and I'll spring for dinner!:D

If only I had more vacation time....:(
Hi shovelhd,
Call in with the “I’m really sick and I can’t make it in today” story! After all it’s only once a year. There’s gonna be mega eye candy at the show. I only wish I’d bought the digital camera in the cell phone before I bought mine! BTW the dinner invite applies to you as well, for helping me with my bubbling paint issue! :D
Ron
I made my presents on Tues & Wed mostly hanging in HotRod Alley ...:)
Hi Nitro, Did ya take any photos you can post here?
