Anyone with Caliper Cover experience?

Considering installing MGP brake caliper covers on my Ridgeline. Anyone out there with caliper cover experience? Do they, perhaps, cut down on brake pad dust? Thanks, in advance!m

Had MGP covers on a previous ride. Not worth it IMHO. Rather flimsy and look added on. Much better off to have the calipers professionally painted for almost the same money. No difference on brake dust but then again with todays ceramic pads used on almost all cars, dust is really not an issue any more.
Well, they are "dust covers" and they are marketed as "dust reducing" in the descriptions online.

Here's a link to a site w/ some options for you. I've thought about getting a pair of red ones to stand out on my Black RTL-T.

They are caliper covers not dust covers and the only dust they will prevent from getting on your wheel is the dust that will accumulate on them which is 99% road dust that has nothing to do with brake dust. The "help reduce dust" part is marketing to help them sell but hopefully you will not fall for that part.

The red covers with black letters would look great on a BE & keeps the color scheme intact. I'll add this to my "to do list" great idea!
Anyone actually do this? My calipers already have a patina of rust.
Have them properly painted and be done with it for good. Not a spray can with a little masking as this wont last a year. Best bet is to find a place that is experienced in powder coating calipers. Will be getting mine done soon as the salted roads did a number on mine this past winter. I have the privilege of knowing someone with a paint booth so I have had several done. I always use top quality epoxy paint which stays amazingly like new for what seems like forever. Everything has to come off and be taken apart so yes it takes some work to do this the right way. I am not into the red look as it seems like one is trying to make it look like a sports car. Red is nice but they have their place IMHO. I will do mine with a charcoal slight metal flake with an epoxy clear coat over the top just like my Genesis wheels I did a couple years back.

Here is a video showing how the powder coating is done.

My daughter's CRV pads were replaced with Wagner Thermoquiet and no dust at all. I don't know what the long term implications of this pad are but the wheels always look clean and I can't detect any difference in brake performance.
I have virtually no dust on my RL with almost 4,000 miles. On the other hand I have a Mini Cooper and they get covered in brake in 4 miles. Still no signs of rust on calipers or rotors.
Side question: are those wheels 20's or 22's?

Any other photos available to share? Thanks. (sorry for the thread hijack OP)
