just noticed about 2 inches of peeling (paint like) covering the cord that is

stitched on armrest. leather is perfect. How do i fix this?

cpcs/ervirogaurd said they dont cover that and dealer said its out of

36k warranty. Thanks

If you're referring to the "piping", that is actually vinyl just like the armrest covering. You could remove it and have it repaired by an upholstery shop or you could buy another armrest for about $100+. Most trim pieces like this are grossly overpriced and are almost never available in the aftermarket. If you can find a willing upholstery shop to take on this "small" project, you might not find it very cost effective and the results may not match the factory exactly if you're as particular about that stuff as I am.
