Please back up your claim with some verifiable facts.
Straight from the US department of Energy website;
Denatured ethanol (98% ethanol) contains approx. 30% less energy than gasoline per gallon.

So if I do the math correctly, and you are using E10/E15, that would be an approx. energy decrease of 3 - 4.5% / gallon. However MPG really depends on driving habits. I have only ever run 1/4 - 1/2 a tank of it through my engine, Therefore I do not have any personal experience with the subject.

I was asking for verification that two tanks of 100% gasoline corrected poor fuel economy on E10 and then allowing subsequent improved fuel economy on E10.

Did I misunderstand his statement?
Absolutely not, I am the one that misunderstood his post and claims of somehow resetting the engine by running non ethanol fuel through it.
