New here, but thought I'd share some research that I did.
The factory backup sensor doesnt work for me. Mainly because I don't like the looks and the fact that ultrasound sensors don't work so well. Dirt and such can effect how they work.

So the goal was to find something that:
1) doesn't required hacking up the bumper
2) works better than ultrasonic units

Both of the units I found below can be mounted behind the bumper, one uses dopplar radar, the other uses microwave.

1) Sensetech http://www.sensetech.com/
2) Rostra Obstacle Sensing System http://www.rostra.com/rostra-obstacle.htm

This is an install from the Ody Club.

Hope this helps someone. When I get my truck, I'll be adding one of these.

Sounds really good to me, read all their info. If I hadn't already installed my wireless ones I'd probably pick the in-hitch one that taps into the reverse lights. The only part that's really difficult with these is running the wire from the hitch to the dash. Guess you could follow the same install path as the Honda ones, probably the only way to do it and it does not look easy.
