That's true enough, but even completing the race puts it ahead of approximately half of the others.

The biggest thing in common with the production Ridgeline is the block (along with heads and crank). This might give some hope to those who want to try to turbocharge their production Ridgelines, but I'd say that instead it points to Honda having a proving ground for future stock turbo options.

Is the object to beat the clock, and secondly to be able to finish it?

I ask that because from what I recall from the first race some similar comments about where are the other contenders were made.

Finishing the race is huge but if you're the only one in the class & finish, you win. So basically Honda got a Win Win.
