This is the list from Autozone, but Sam's had a combo 450amp booster and inflator for $49.99. I've got some good 4 guage jumper cables that I usually keep in the Ridgeline, but I was wondering if one of these gizmos would be a good thing to have and what power I might need.
Would a 450 amp fire up the Ridgeline if the battery went out? I think our battery is rated 600 or 700 amps, isn't it?

Yes, skycokid, I believe the unit at Sam's is a Stanley.I have and have used this exact (Stanley right?) model for the past two years or so - couldn't be more pleased. I only charged it twice but it never really got weak on me. i recharged it just to be safe. It jump started my DEAD truck battery a half a dozen times earler this summer with no problems whatsoever. Very strong unit. I also use this unit to inflate my kids bike tires and my riding mower tires. i no longer keep jumpers in my truck and this thing lays flat in the under rear seat tray.
Sam's had a 350 unit for $5 cheaper but the extra money is a no brainer for the 450.
COSTCO has a booster with 700 or 750A for $20 more....$69.99.

Well, the Sam's closest to me sold out of the original model. Picked up a different Stanley-branded model for $40 with 300A and a peak of 600A. Just a battery booster, no inflator.
