When a tonneau is used. How dust proof is the inside of the bed and what have you done to improve dust proofing. Does anyone know if the floor to sidewall seams are sealed?

This afternoon, I applied the Extang MaxSeal Tailgate Seal around my RTL-T tailgate. The gaps were pretty significant and I wanted to get the best bed seal I could. About $30 from Auto Anything.

Was it a custom fit or just universal. Do you feel like it provides a good seal?

It is an owner custom fit, as you have to work around the hinge assemblies and accommodate access to the trunk release. Cut and paste, so to speak. Awaiting arrival of my RetraxProMX tonneau before I can say how effective the seal is, but close inspection of the seal reveals no light showing through!

Have you owned a Retrax before? Had a Bakflip on my Frontier and loved it. Curious as to how the water drain situation will be handled on each in the Ridgeline bed.

Haven't owned a RetraxProMX before; always had a fiberglass cap on previous trucks. after review of the install instructions, I believe I'll route the cannister drain tubes down to the weep holes across the front bed wall. Should handle any runoff from the tonneau.
