Yo, its Vinny...:cool:

I was waxing my truck today,
I noticed while the front door was open If you look between the door and the frame ( sort of behind the outside body panel) this space is filled with a black hard styrofoam.. you can see the little bubbles like in foam, but they are black and much harder and denser then regular styrofoam..

Is this for safety? noise dampering? or what specific reason?:confused:

Update on my "drumming Noise"-

Now I only here the faint drumming noise until I make a few turns.. then it goes away.. But it is still there.:confused:

Funny you should notice this..... I was at my Honda dealer today getting my towing package and other stuff installed, when one of the service managers pointed this out to me..... He said they added it for noise reduction.
