I have scuff marks on the lower black plastic trim. What is the best way to get these out?? I have tried soap and water with no luck and I don't want to put any harsh chemicals on them. :frown:

On all my previous cars with that lower black plastic (the first was the 1988 Jeep Cherokee) I used Armor All on it. Usually if you do it just once in a while it keeps it looking good and hides the scrapes from use.

Armor All is the worst stuff you can put on anything, it's just a greasy slick products that attracts dirt and dust, worthless product. If you actually want to repair the problem with scratches in plastic as well as on your vehicles paint surface, I even use it on my motorcycle windshields to remove mars and light scratches, I would use Meguiar's #2 Professional Fine-Cat Cleaner, you must use a soft polishing rag, nothing but a soft material, no paper towels, I can't stress this enough, if your rag is rough you will just add more scratches to what you are polishing.

Depending how bad they are Meguiars Paint Protect has worked for me.

If that does not work the only other option is to replace the piece.
