well when I got the truck, it only had mudguards. no other accessories on
it at all. and that's just no fun, I think we can all agree.

I still have a couple things here or there to order and install.
oem fender flares are in my future soon, I'm weary on the shipping though.
some of the stuff I've been getting from Honda lately hasn't been packaged
all that well at all, and I hear the fender flare packaging is pretty poor as well.

well on to the stuff that is on the truck.

oem accessory grille
oem fog lights
oem silver tube side steps
oem roof rack
sportwing side molding
20 x 9.5 +45 BMW style 87 AFS wheels
hankook ventus st rh06 275/45/20 tires
6000k headlights, and soon to have 6000k fogs too

^I'm just blurring all the junk in the background. I promise to take proper
pictures in the near future not polluted with junk and lawnmowers and whatnot.

oem 09 tails
oem 09 4wd badge
oem 09 tailgate latch with camera built in
oem camera attachment kit with aftermarket camera
led 3rd brake lights
all led interior, license plate, and cargo lights

^I wanted my 4wd badge just to the left of where the oem placement is.

let me know if you have any questions or anything.
I did all of the installs myself, and most everything went off without a hitch.
this site has been an invaluable resource to me and I kindly thank the
members here for their great wisdom. thanks for looking!

Wow! you're a man of your works. that look sick.

Agree! Those wheels are a really nice match with the Ridge.

tyty. I have to again give all the credit to TN Ridgeline for those.
after seeing his truck I just couldn't resist, they looked so perfect to me.

as for future mods, these are my plans:

oem fender flares
rotora big brake kit for the front
possible 09 front end conversion
(with an 09 accessory grille and fogs)
probably a line-x bed liner
clear bra for the front (probably on the 09 front if I get it)
ct-engineering supercharger (when/if it comes out)
hondata reflash (when/if it comes out)
probably other stuff, lol.

with the line-x, I'd have them take every panel of the bed apart and
spray each panel separately, so that way I could make sure it would still
be able to be taken apart if needed. or whatever they would need to do
to ensure I could still take apart the bed if needed.

no thanks.
not into the low lumen goldish light. can't stand it actually.
all the bulbs in my home even are 5500k-6500k. no yellow
light for me. I'm much more into bright white with a blueish tint.
Looks great.

I'm installed a rear camera and backup sensors on mine and the camera has really grown on me. You can pigeon hole the Ridge backwards into any spot. Also, handy when I'm going to load something in the back and I want to get nice and close to whatever I'm going to be loading.

Enjoy your accessories.

I have an 08 RTL with nav and want the camera but don't want to drill holes in my tailgate. Where did you get the kit for the 09 rearview camera? Will it hook up to the 08 Navi screen, and what kind of camera did you use? Mine is also silver, oem fogs, 09 wheels and looks very similar to yours. Wanting to get the grille soon too. Yours looks excellent! I am working towards the same look for mine.

there is no "kit" per se, it's all individual parts bought and
put together.

the camera itself is from edogpro on ebay.
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220351138439
^this is the one I bought.

the video wire is long enough, but the power/ground is not, so you'll
need to buy a little bit of 18-20g wire to extend the power wire.

in conjunction to the ebay camera, I also bought a Honda backup camera
attachment kit. Part #: 08B21-SJC-102. this provides all of the materials
needed besides the camera plus instructions for a very clean install. what
I did was cut the pigtail plug off of the sub-harness included with the oem
attachment kit and wired my camera into the wires that were left.

and as for the mounting of the camera, it's just an 09 Billet Silver tailgate
handle that was built to perfectly accept the ebay camera.
its part # is: 74810-SJC-A21ZC, remember that's for the billet silver metallic.

and as for it working on the screen in an 08, yes it does. perfectly. wonderful
clarity and view. the Honda tech guys say that the camera is higher quality
than the oem one is. the attachment kit comes with a sub-harness. one side
will plug into the nav unit under the drivers seat, and the other end runs along
the trim panel to meet your camera wires behind the backseat. that's where
you'll be splicing, behind the seat. the camera wires then run back through
the grommet, through the bed and into the tailgate. the instructions clearly
spell out all of this.

^there are the instructions. only thing you'll do differently is mount your
camera in the 09 latch and splice wires instead of just plug the two plugs
together. if you do this and it comes time to splice the wires, it goes like this:

works and looks flawless. it's a pain taking everything apart and then putting
it back together, but it's worth it in the end.

Thanks for your help. I like this much better. I did the fogs myself so I think I can handle this. At least I won't be all bent up under the dash.:)
I like that clean laid back look. The wheel are a perfect touch.
Hi,

I am new to this site, and your RL looks very nice!!!

I just recently got an 08 one, but I was curious as to if your RL is lowered or lifted? Or just stock height?

Thank you.

Regards,
Malcolm
