I am trying to find the location and how to change the interior air filter. The owner's manual says "take it to the dealer". Can anyone tell me where it is and how to change it?

Almost all of todays vehicles has the cabin filter behind the glovebox. Pretty sure it is there. Here is how you access it however this shows the Gen 1.

Its right behind the glove box, easiest way is to empty the contents of the glove box and basically squeeze the glove box along the rear edge… squeeze the two long sides together. Once the glove box is down you will see a rectangular cover on the airbox, squeeze the two tabs and the tray will slide out.

Nice. My old pilot required cutting part of the dash behind the glove box, and also full glove box removal (including the metal bar) to change the cabin filter.

I had so many problems with mice in the blower motor, I had just left my glove box off for like 6 years.
