Can the bed hold a 60 x 60 ply sheet?

Flush down on the deck?

My 2011 cannot. I kind of gummed up my carrying capacity, plywood-sheet-wise, but getting a Retrax box cover, but I believe that even without the Retrax, I could not get a sheet of metric plywood (60" x 60") in the bed.

Sure would like it, because I plan to get a G2 2017, and I use metric ply for projects.

I believe that metric plywood is made with special wood and can be folded in half. That way it is only 30" wide and can easily lay flat in the bed.

You should probably go ahead and put a down payment on the new Ridge since your most important criteria is apparently a non issue . . .

See below. Wont fit flush, you would have to lay some sort of base to flush bed and you would have to tilt in and out. The rear quarter panels where the bed closes looks to get down to about 49".

The 2017 Honda Ridgeline features a 5-foot (1.5 meter) by 5-foot 4-inch (1.6 meter) bed, wider and longer than the previous generation. This makes the new Ridgeline the only midsize truck with a full four feet (1.2 m) between each wheel well, allowing plywood, drywall, or pallets to be loaded flat on the bed floor. Payload capacity is nearly 1,600 lb (726 kg); full specs will be revealed upon launch.

looks like they joined just for the purpose of That joke. Which might have worked if they didn't specifically say 60 INCHES by 60 INCHES.

Not sure, but a quick search comes up with some info that some marine grade plywood may come in 5' x 5' sizes.

I was referring to 5' Square Baltic Birch Plywood. There are a few applications for plywood that size including marine, plane, and cabinet building.
