Can't find jack point

8281 Views 6 Replies 5 Participants Last post by  smufguy
After looking in the manual for rear jack point, I don't feel confident I have identified it.
Can someone please take a look at this picture and tell me where it is? A, B, or am I way off?
Picture is of rear driver side area. (I did a search but couldn't make much sense of the result)

Just split my tire open on a sharp rock on the side of my driveway. I was backing up and got off to the side a bit. Not having a great day. Any assitance would be much appreciated.

All the best.
Erik

Or is it the wavy piece of metal highlighted C?
As you can tell... I'm lost.

As I mentioned, I did search, and I did find that very thread. I couldn't make sense if it as the pictures are of central lift point as far as I can tell. The other pictures are essentially of what not to do which is of course what I'm trying to avoid.
If when you look at the side of the car, C sticks down a bit and is just in front of the rear wheel, I'm betting it is C.
The side jacking points are the ones that look like C. There are also central jacking points (one for the front and one for the rear) which is what is shown in the linked thread.

Owners manual has the info.
OP, its the area/section C. That is where the grooves of the jack will fit in for you to lift the vehicle.
