CarPlay Maps missing ??!
Just picked up new RTL-E .. when I set up CarPlay .. Apple maps does not show as a default application as it does on all CarPlay advertising etc. Is this a "Honda thing"? Or did I miss something.

Unplugging and plugging back in has always worked for me on the after market Alpine CarPlay Unit I put in in 2015. Doesn't happen often, but occasionally you have no choice. You might also reboot the phone before re-plugging.It works for me. Might try restarting the phone?
OK ... I almost hate to admit this ... but I found the problem...it was me!
Being a Google Maps user the 1st thing I did when I get a new iPhone is to delete the apps I don't use...and I had deleted the Apple Maps app! Once I re-downloaded it it shows up on the CarPlay screen!!! DUH!
