The biggest meet photographed so far was the three Bay Area California guys.
USARSHOE, Tex's Ridge and I are all just East of Hartford. Rocker is somewhere in CT. shovelhd you must be just up the road in "Western Mass".

That's 5 Ridgelines and the makings for a record setting photo. Not Guiness Book of World Records stuff, but certainly a ROC record.

Anybody up for it? I'll suggest a Sat. or Sun. lunch at Marlboro Tavern, corner of Routes 2 and 66. Photo on the Marlboro Green across the Street.

CT is a bit of a trek but it may be possible I would be interested as well. Would really depend on when of course.

I'm in. I live just 5 minutes from the Marlborough Tavern. I would also be willing to meet for a spur of the minute cocktail.

Tex's Ridge has suggested Saturday, July 23. Let's say 11:30 for lunch at the Marlboro Tavern. Its at the corner of Routes 2 (exit 13) and 66 in Marlboro, CT. Reservations are not needed, but if it looks like were getting a big response I'll make some. Who's in?

That entire weekend is bad for me as I will be driving north to Maine that weekend. Oh well, guess I will have to catch the next NE one.

I'm in of course. July 23 is fine. If we can accomodate anyone else by a slight change of schedule, that will be fine by me too. :)

Southern New England meet is set for July 23 at 11:00

When I got the idea for a mini-meet, I picked the Marlboro Tavern, (860) 295-8229 because it was a place I knew in between Tex’s Ridge, USARSHOE, and me. I didn’t expect the bigger response. The tavern is not a bad place though. I have contacted them and they are happy to accommodate our group. I am arranging a reserved parking section for Honda Ridgelines only! They wouldn’t let us bring one in the restaurant. If anyone is interested when we are done, you will be about 25 minutes from Mohegan Sun and the Foxwoods Indian Casinos. To get there…

From Vermont, Western New Hampshire, and Western Massachusetts -- Take I-91 South toward Hartford, CT. Just before downtown Hartford take the left hand exit for I-84 East. Stay in the right lane and almost immediately exit onto Route 2 East. Take Route 2 to Exit 13 Marlboro and Route 66. Bear right at the end of the exit ramp on Route 66 West. Marlboro Tavern is on the left through the first light.

From Rhode Island and South Eastern Connecticut – Take I-95 to I-395 North to Route 2 West. Take Route 2 West to Exit 13 Marlboro and Route 66. Turn left at the end of the exit ramp on Route 66 West. Marlboro Tavern is on the left through the first light.

From Maine, Eastern NH, and Eastern Massachusetts -- Take I-93 or I-95 to I-495 South to I-90 West (Mass Pike) to I-84 West. Just before Hartford, CT take a left hand exit on Route 2 East. You are doubling back about 10 miles, but this is faster than trying to cut south before Hartford. Take Route 2 East to Exit 13 Marlboro and Route 66. Bear right at the end of the exit ramp on Route 66 West. Marlboro Tavern is on the left through the first light.

From NYC or South Western Connecticut -- Take I-95 North to I-91 North to Exit 22S Route 9 South. Take Route 9 South till you see the Aragoni Bridge going over the Connecticut River. You are doubling back about 2 miles, but this is faster than going through downtown Middletown. Just under the bridge take the exit for Route 66 East. You will loop around to the right and go over the bridge into Portland. Watch the signs! You have to make a right turn just over the bridge to stay on 66 East. Pass through Portland, Cobalt, and East Hampton. Marlboro Tavern is on the right less than a mile past the twin hills, a very long straightaway, down first and then back up the other side. If you go over Route 2 you went too far.

From Upstate NY or West or North Western Connecticut -- Take I-84 East through Hartford. Just past downtown Hartford and over the Connecticut River take the Exit for 2 East. Take Route 2 East to Exit 13 Marlboro and Route 66. Bear right at the end of the exit ramp on Route 66 West. Marlboro Tavern is on the left at the first light. Alternate routes are to take I-84 East to I-691 East to I-91 North to Route 9 South or I-84 East to Route 9 South and follow the NYC directions above.

Who's gonna make it?

Didn't think to mention it, but of course wives, husbands, boyfriends, girlfriends, mistresses, paramours, significant others all welcome. Marlboro Tavern is OK for kids too. There is a restaurant section, not just a bar.
