I won't know until late September, but if possible I will be there again this year. ( I have been to the last 2 Cruisin the Coast. It is worth the drive to get there. This year I will bring my fold up sport chairs to sit on - hint to anyone coming ).

Let's hope it won't be preempted by a hurricane. The gulf coast still isn't back to normal from Katrina and the BP mess.

Missed last year due to the dreaded acid reflux popping up at the wrong time. Doubt we can make it this year due to a grandson getting married on the beach at Fort Walton in late September. Can't afford both!! Thunder on the Gulf coming up at Orange Beach also, took that in 5 years ago and really enjoyed it. Be a great meet opportunity someday. Wait; I just remembered, Keith and Mike are talking about bring the Subie to the Dragon on the 9th and 10th for the annual Civic meet. Like to make that also!!

I will be attending the fourth annual ROC'n the Coast this year along with Lex Luthor (Jimmy). Hope more will attend. I know the regulars will be there, they have been there since the first venue. We do see a decline in interest for the Gulf Coast Region but it really is a hoot and if you are car crazy this is the place to be. I'm in Phil look forward to seeing you guys in a few months. I will let you know the hotel as soon as I get it locked in

What a nice time we had. It is always great seeing good friends. Our old faithful members that couldn't attend this year Djeaux(Joe) was out of town and Larryr(Larry) had to work, we missed them both. Joe's first time since we started getting together in 2006. Our small group keeps the 4th Annual ROC'n the Coast alive and well. Lex Luthor(Jimmy), RollTide(Phil), FMS1(Eddie) and myself was in attendance. Phil brought his daughter and Eddie his wife to keep these truck nuts in line. We ate at Cafe New Orleans in D'Iberville MS a mom and pop type restaurant, food was southern style and great .

There were over 5000 registered cars and another 10000 visiting Cruisin' the Coast. They broke all kinds of records this year. I sure wish we could, it would be nice to spark a interest and have more ROC member attend. So much to do, Food, Casino's and oh yea Cars, so many Cars. :act030:

Maybe next year if the economy gets better more would like to attend, I hope so. It would be nice to see our club represented, there are so many different clubs out there and I feel that our club is just as good as there club and I know with more in attendance we could make our mark here as well.

Thanks to all who attended and took time out of their busy schedule to be there.

Here are a few pictures.

Well guy's, we had a ball. The weather was beautiful and there were more custom cars and trucks around than anywhere. We had a great time with Phil and daughter, Eddie and Karen, and Tony. Hopefully, some other ROC guy's could come down. This is one of the biggest parties in town. I enjoyed catching up with the guy's. Hey Joe, we sure missed you. We missed Larry also but he missed becasue of work obligations and that is a good thing. We look forward to seeing you next year.;act028:

Thanks goes to you guys for keeping this going. Karen & I had a great time as always. I agree with the rest that it would be great to get more guys together for this special event. The area is great with so much to see when the car show is in town.

We look forward to next year. I hope some others make the commitment to come. Again, special thanks to Tony & Jimmy for all they do for our group.
