Cup Holders

Anyone know of anything in the aftermarket that will make the two ugly holes in the Ridgeline console (cup holders) more attractive, removable to clean and that will self adjust to firmly hold cans and plastic water bottles to stop them from flopping about?
To be fair, Honda isn't the only automotive manufacture guilty of pinching pennys by sneeking in truly ugly and poorly designed cup holders. You'd think that any vehicle that can easily sell north of $40K could come up with a nicer looking and better engineered cup holder than the ones one would find in a nasty 30 year old Yugo :surprise:. If you're going to cut corners to save a few cents do it where we won't see it every time we drive the vehicle :act060:.

I agree. Even the Gen 1 cup holders were better (after they fixed them with the updated parts).
This is a bit of a gripe for me as well. I just don't see why Honda didn't use the same cup holders on the Accord with the plastic slides in the cup holders that adjust to the size of the cup. Does anyone know if the Pilot has the same type of cup holders as the RL?

That's promising a lot for a set of auto cubby pads!

They do look nice. I have a set, they make the interior look finished.

Anyone have anything that they put on top of the console slider to make things stick instead of sliding around every time you speed up or come to a stop? It seems the CupHolderHero ones don't have any pads for setting on top of that?
I also own the CupHolderHero "floormats" and like them a lot. However, do not put them in the second row center armrest cupholders, because they raise up the cup just enough that it will wobble in the holder and might tip over (personal experience). They also have a tendency to stick to the bottom of some cups and will fall on the floor when you remove the cup.

I do like them and they do dress up the interior a little, depending upon which color you get. No, I have not found anything for the sliding center console.

They came with some double sided tape which I used on the rear cup holders so they wouldn’t fall out when the armrest is stored. That tape could be used instead on the forward cup holders to keep them from sticking to the cup and coming out when the cup is picked up.

I used the tape also, but I was mainly referring to the raised height of the cup inside those second row center cup holder. The cup holder is not deep enough to hold anything securely but a small sized cup.
Here's the option that I use:
