Double Din install kit

I want to replace the basic radio on my Ridgeline. I'm happy with the radio but I want bluetooth and a backup camera for the truck and possibly trailer.

I understand I will need a dash kit and I am about to order one but how necessary is the antenna adapter and the wiring harness which is an extra cost. Actually the wiring harness is not much but the antenna adapter is more than the dash kit. Can I do without it?

Incidentally, the deck I am leaning towards is the Sony XAV68BT. Has all I need and good reviews.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Nope, you can't do without the antenna adaptor. But it seems odd an adaptor isn't provided with the wiring kit.

Just an FYI: both sonicelectronix.com and crutchfield.com provide installation parts at no charge.
OK, thanks, I will get the antenna adapter. crutchfield.com is great but I don't believe they sell to Canada and crutchfield.ca (Canada) is expensive for decks and they also charge for the installation parts. But thanks for the Sonic mention as I see they ship here.
here's one for cheap on ebay if you still need it. this is the same one i use for my setup.

just make sure to connect the blue wire from the adapter to the 12v from the radio harness, red wire, otherwise you wont get much of a signal. good luck
