Are you talking about the plastic cover on the A-pillar?

If so, use a sharpened putty knife to carefully pry off the "Airbag Inside" plug (It looks molded-in, but is actually a plug). You may need to remove the visor, too (don't recall for sure). Afterwards it should pull off.

Honda says you should replace the "Airbag Inside" plug after this, but if you're careful you should be able to reuse it. Because the curtain airbag is underneath, they want to make sure that the cover releases correctly, but doesn't fly off into your face when the airbag deploys.

Just pull it straight out towards the top using a trim tool or equivalent. The bottom is kind if locked into the dash that is why you need to pull the top out first. There are 3 clips I believe that hold it on. If you have a plastic trim tool it would make the job easier and you wouldn't have to worry about damaging the trim. Just don't stick something too long or sharp up towards the top because that is where the side curtain air bag is. Don't worry, you would really have to be digging around to come close to it. Just wanted you to make you aware of it.

sorry chiph, I was replying and didn't realize you had already replied.
