I am very sensitive to sound and smell.
Probably overly sensitive.

But today, on the wya to lunch, I've noticed that my exhaust tone has changed. It sounds more strained and seems to be have more drone on the interior of the truck. I did just go to Honda to get oil changed. I normally NEVER do that (I do my own change) but figured since it was 1) free and 2) fast (took only 15 minutes) I'd give it a go. I donno, maybe I am hearing things. Or maybe the muffler is packing in and the exhaust note is not different...

Take a look at the exhaust system. The people that change oil at dealers are not mechanics and usually have little or no supervision. They are usually clueless kids let loose that have no training. At least the franchised quick lube joints have policies to follow.

They probably crushed the exhaust system when they put it on the lift.

If that's the case don't drive it too much or you'll be rewarded with some burned valves.
