Has anyone here bought or installed the Honda expanded view mirror accessory? It is only about $40, but I am wondering how difficult it is to install. I am assuming you have to remove the existing mirror since there are different part numbers depending on if you have a heated mirror or not.

You'll have to scroll down to the mirror PDF, but it is simple.
I did it. It's very easy but the prying and sounds that it makes during the removal process if a bit nerve wracking. Just need a shop towel and some leverage. The mirror includes instructions. I've done mirrors on other cars before and this one ranks among the easier ones since the glass is so big.

I have the same questions, especially if you removed the negative cable, seems if the ignition is off, there would be no power to the mirror. I know, they always tell you to pull the power, probably just to cover themselves.

Does it even do anything, the mirror? My Accord came with a similar mirror and there was no difference. The angle was the same and the reflection of objects in the mirror did not change from side to the other. It was just like having a line in the glass and thats it.

Hi does this accessory comes for both mirrors? I have only seen the part number for the driver side (76254-TG7-A11), but not for the passenger side

The passenger side mirror is already convex, so there is no need for an "expanded view" mirror on this side.
The driver's side factory mirror is flat. The "expanded view" accessory mirror is slightly convex on the outer section to the left of the vertical line.

Would it be better with a mirror attachment, rather than this new mirror?
