I did it. It's very easy but the prying and sounds that it makes during the removal process if a bit nerve wracking. Just need a shop towel and some leverage. The mirror includes instructions. I've done mirrors on other cars before and this one ranks among the easier ones since the glass is so big.

I did not disconnect the negative terminal to install the mirror. All instructions for electrical parts installations will include this instruction as a disclaimer in the event you do something stupid and electrocute yourself.
