Alaskan here, can confirm, steering wheel warms up with autostart. It auto adjusts the climate based off the outside temperature. Although the 60s are hot for me and I expected that it would cool it down, it had the opposite effect. But since we are 20's and 30's now, it's nice and toasty within about 5 minutes. Seldom have to run the full 10 minutes unless it's caked in ice.
