I always glance to see whats in my tire treads routinely. This morning I see a shiney head of a screw. I hold my breath as I slowly turn it out but I didn't hear any hiss. So I take a some gob and do the bubble test...thank god no leaks. If I did not catch this one in time it would have eventually worked its way to puncture the tire....:D

We had a screw give us a slow leak. The tire pressure sensor warning worked flawlessly. A quick trip to the dealer and a free repair and we've been fine since.

Keep an eye on it. I had a screw in one of my front tires and it tok a week for it to bleed down enough for the TPMS to fire.
