My front end clip pops out from the front quarter panel. Not sure if it was in a fender bender before I owned it, or if it is just a defect.

Any idea how I can get to this to have a look? Do I need to remove the fender well? Would this be a pain?

Most are like that. If your under warranty take it back to the dealer. Once I checked 6 at the dealer and none were fit tightly on both sides.

My 2011 was like that. It would pop out and I would pop it back in. This went on for a while. Someone said that after 2009 a piece was left out ( 71170-SJC-A00 009 001 ABSORBER, FR. BUMPER ), that caused the sides to pop out when the front was pushed in or from the pressure caused by 70 mph and above. I added this part on my 2011 and it helped alot.
Popping the bumper back in without removing it isn't the solution. This will become obvious if you take it off, which is really easy to do. The missing part can be put on any year RL, I don't know why Honda stopped using it. It is kept in place with two push clips. Really easy project. I've had no problems with my '14.

The following link has an exploded parts diagram for front bumoer. See part # 9 which may not be on you RL..... Search 2008 versus 2012
