I am replacing the front motor mount on my '06. I have all the mount bolts out but I ran into a small problem. I can't get the engine to jack up and release the mount. I replaced the side mount a while back and didn't have any problem at all. Am I missing something? I don't want to put any "undo" pressure on the oil pan or transmission case. I have to admit it has me stumped a little. Any help would be appreciated.

Also, I haven't seen where anyone mentioned taking the side mount loose to allow the engine to come up, I hope that won't be necessary...

O.K., got it. For some reason (probably because I was in a hurry!) I thought the engine should jack up enough to clear the engine mount stud bolt on top. Obviously, that didn't work. So I jacked the engine up enough to take the three bolts out of the cast triangular top mount of the motor mount. I should have realized it, but some times I start thinking in my age bracket. Everything is good now.
