Yokohama Geolandar A/T-S 245/60R18

Found this all terrain tire and I have not seen it before. Searched the forum with no results.

So, anyone have any experience with this tire?

I am running the Yokohama Geolander AT-S although it is on my FJ Cruiser. It is an excellent on road tire that is quiet plus it does great off-road as well.

I even pulled a 2 wheel drive FJ Cruiser the last couple of miles up Imogene trail in Ouray Colorado last Summer without any problem.

Hopefully they've updated these tires since I last ran them on my jeep. For ATs they were super loud on road, terrible in the snow, ice, and rain. It's been about 5 years since I had them though. I have the cooper discover At3 on my RL now and they're amazing. Dry, wet, snow, ice, towing, sand....everything I've thrown at em they've been great. They were cheap, too. Also the quietest AT I've ever run, and I've run a ton in my days.

My experience was the opposite... I just replaced a set of Geolanders on the 17" RTS rims after almost 80,000 miles. I think they could have gone longer, but my alignment was out of whack and they started wearing quickly on the inner edge. I replaced them with the same tire as I don't think I'll get anywhere near that mileage out of any other AT/S tire. I loved them in Missouri weather, especially considering that we have had our fair share of snow and rain in the past 5 years of me owning and running them on the Ridgeline.

I will admit that they get noisier as they age and the tread wears down. I didn't really notice it much until replacing them yesterday. I got on the highway after the swap and couldn't believe how much quieter the new set was.

I am planning on grabbing a set of summer rims/tires coming up... but the Geolander AT/S will be my fall, winter, spring combo as I have had nothing but good luck with them for over five years.
