I'd like to de chrome my Ridgeline, starting with the grille. I rather not take the time to remove the grille so I've been thinking about plastic dipping it in place. has anyone tried this before, does it work out well. I've seen the badges done this way before and it seems to work. If i were to take the time and hassle to remove everything I'd be tempted to colour match the chrome to the rest of the truck. it would just be the grille surround, mine is a 2009.

Yeah you can leave it in place, just try and reach in the rear and cover behind the grille so that you dont get plasti dip on the radiator, if you are also going to be painting the front of the grille. also leave about a inch around the whole part that you are going to paint so that once you remove lets says newspaper that you use to cover from over spray, the lines will end up looking sharp and it will be easier for you to remove the dip where you dont want it.
