That's great, you'll be happy you took the plunge. Will you be able to take advantage of any of the Memorial Day deals?

There's a check list on this site somewhere that looks to be very helpful when you actually buy. I wish I had it when I picked mine up.
Get ready for a bonding experience. :D
Nice !! Congrats SS !! Redrock was my 2nd choice to the White and if my dealer would have had one with Nav at the time .. I may have been rockin right now

Hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy mine!! :D

CONGRATULATIONS GUYS!!!! Enjoy the ride!! :)
Welcome to the club! :)
Thanks everyone. I had picked blue based on looking online, then I saw the red and it was just so sharp. (It's actually the same shade as my current truck, so I guess I picked a good one last time!) They're doing the 'locate' thing now.

Not sure about the deals, haven't seen anything official about them yet. I might think about the 1.9 just because its so low, but I had planned on cash.
Welcome. Keep us posted on your delivery dates and your level of anticipation.

Anticipation...Anticipation...is making we wait...it's keeping me
wa-a-a-a-aitin'!!

OOPPSS!! That's ketchup.

Never mind!! :D
Spent the whole afternoon at the dealership. I again test drove one with a roof rack and one without. There was a little more wind noise with the rack but not by much. It really just did look better with it so I opted for it. I think I had a great deal without even trying hard but since I don't have the truck yet I don't want to get jixed.
Ladyridge in that post of yours, was that 10 year warranty added on by you for laughs or was it legit? That free vacation sounds too good to be true. I've read the 7 year/100 cost around $1000. My salesperson told me the only promo was on the rates.
I've left my credit card number for the deposit but they didn't give me any official paperwork when I left, just a handwritten one. Is that normal? We did fill out all the forms with my info but there wasn't anything I signed yet. I think my salesperson was on the up and up. He had to call several dealerships for my choice of color red or blue. I was leaning towards the red ever so slightly but the ones we initially found had VINS below 16000. I was insistent on this issue so I will get the blue in the 17000+ from a third or fourth dealership we had called(fitted out with $79 mudguards which made me wince- it was the only install I knew I could do). Since I would have gotten the same amount over invoice with any model, after seeing a NAVI I was sorely tempted for a while but I decided I could live without it. I should be able to get the 1.9 rate for 36 months with my FICO score but part of me is still wary of any last minute surprises. I need to complete the paperwork by Monday, hopefully the car would be there as well by then.
This site is great. Been lurking since the Detroit Auto show.

(soon to be the owner a steel blue rtl, assuming no last minute surprises that will make me walk out)

Good luck, Ridgelurker. If I had to do it all over again, I would have gotten the NAV. Once you pick up your Ridgeline, are you going to change your screen name? :)
I decided if ridgelurker could come out of the closet so could I. Been checken this site out for a long time, as well as a couple others, never participated before on any due to lack of computer skills. O well bear with me. I have had my ridgeline since early March, followed this truck since it had four sunroofs. I knew I wanted one from the first time I heard of it. I paid msrp, I would not care if Honda started giving them away today, I would not trade one minute. I love this truck! Well my finger is tired so I' ll stop, you folks are top notch.

The 10/100 is for power train only paid by the dealer. The vacation is a hotel in Florida with the Universal tickets paid for by the dealer. The road side assistance is also paid for by the dealer. I got all of it when I bought my 'Line!!
Wow those offers were generous.
to shovelhead: i'll keep the handle sounds dark and mysterious. before i learned you got your handle from a motorcycle I thought you were a duck fan.
Duck fan, as in Ducati? If so, I am. Every man needs an arrest-me-red Ferrari and Ducati in their garage. Next to the Ridgeline, of course. :)
