Just purchased a 2012 white RTL and will be looking here for info on Tonneau covers and other accessories.

Robert,
How do you like the G2? Does it interfere with opening the in-bed trunk? I think a tonneau cover will be my first accessory and living in Colorado I want something that will stand up to snow.

I can recommend Retrax..... don't really know about the other brands. Have had mine on since 2005 w/o issue. Disclaimer: I'm in SoCal. Have only seen snow a couple of times on vacation road trips.

USN, the trunk lid opens a couple of inches less because it contacts the rails along the side of the bed. It's not a big deal and a common side effect of many bed covers.

I got mine second hand from another ROC member, so it's older than my truck, but it still works perfectly.

The G2 is rated to support up to 400lbs of weight, so it should handle snow just fine.

Stationed in San Diego for three years didn't see much snow there unless I went looking for it in the mountains

Indeed. The original owner didn't do anything to it. Looking forward to customizing it a little to make it "mine".
