Hello all. First of all this is a great site. I am a contractor working in Iraq and just spent three weeks at home on leave and four days before i came back i saw the Red RTL and had to have it. This truck is so awesome, it has everything i could want in a truck. I looked at the other trucks in its class but i drove the Ridgeline first and the others could not and did not compare. It will be Christmas before i will get home again and drive it. Cant wait to get it in some snow. Take care everyone and watch out for the other drivers that all most break their neck looking at the Ridgeline.

Welcome to the ROC family Tex from Kansas. We can't wait for you to come home and enjoy that new truck.
Stay safe and keep in touch. We'll be here.
Congratulatons.
Congrats on your RL, TFK. :D Stay safe and stay in touch. ;)
The ROC has gone international (Canada doesn't count :D). Stay safe and enjoy your Xmas present! :)
Thanks for your service over there. People tend to forget that we've got so many people over there who are not in the military. Stay safe and may God bless you all.
Congrats on your Ridgeline and take care of yourself over there. My buddy is a MP 1SGT in the Sunni triangle, on leave now, returning Thursday. Maybe someday he'll be watching your back.
As a Disabled American Vet (DAV) stay safe and return. I am not proud of my disability because it was caused by an 18 wheeker and it was peace time. But the VA is taking care of things, hope all the Iraq vets get preferential treatment!!! ;)

yeah..I resemble that remark!! :D
Congrats Tex. Get home safe (I'm originally from Wichita and love the place, small world).

You'll love the Ridge even more after you get to drive it every day.
Welcome aboard and stay safe over there.
Hay,
Ladyridge, that sound like one of my malipropisms. "I resemble that thought".
I love seeing it from someone new :p , your favorite. Having been raised in Niagara Falls, NY and my folks having a summer place at Crystal Beach, Onterio, and now in North Carolina since 1958, I still have a affection for our Canadian compardrays, They back us, and tell us when they think we are the
ugly Americans. SO BE IT, we are not the be all and end all of everything that is right.

Hey oldguy, you grew up in Niagra Falls, NY? My Dad grew up on the Canadian side but spent most of his time on the American side working. He would have been 87 had he lived. He died 31 years ago. I still miss him real bad.
Maybe you knew the family. Nichols. They were there for a long time.
Lady ridge, I left in 58. My dad had a Hardware store on East Falls St.
A liquor store took over the sight in1960 or so, but the owner died of a
heart attack and a black owner took over. Now, would you believe, that from
10th street to Portage road (would be 15th street), the only building remaining, besides Holy Trinity Catholic church and the old school building is...
My dad's building @ 1220 E. Falls Street.
Congrats on your purchase and we wish you a safe return home.
My prediction is that you're going to spend hours and days reading about all the cool mods people have done to their RL on this site and then just go buck wild crazy on yours the moment you return. Make it into a monster truck! :D
Reds a good color choice Tex. Where in Iraq are you and how are things going overall? Not to interject politics but we need to get the hell out of there! Oldguy, feeling you on the disability, and where it can be a devastating blow to ones pride (especially initially) it is no comparison to the amount of pride we have just knowing we are Vets and did our part. I also agree with you about the VA doing a wonderful job (as is America) of “taking care of our vets”. Tex – DRINK WATER, STAY LOW, BE SAFE and dream, dream, dream, of coming home to your beautiful red rock pearl Ridgeline.
Great to hear from and welcome to the club! Please keep in touch with us and confirm when you arrive safely back in the U.S. Your Ridgeline will be a great coming home/Christmas present for you! Take care over there and thanks for what you are doing!
