Has anyone experience unbearable wind noise inside the cabin when both rear windows down completely? I'm thinking since there's no place for the wind to go and the back window is right there (no opening) you'll hear the loud noise. Any other ideas?

Had a similar issue with my G1, but the G2 is definitely more susceptible. As others have commented, opening the back window or cracking the front windows usually stops it.

I have 17,000+ miles in. I've found the problem to be quite variable, apparently related to cross-winds. (That's the only thing I can pin the variability on.)

As someone else commented, I think that as aerodynamics of vehicles is calibrated to the gnats eyelashes, this is probably more likely to occur. The trade-off, I suppose, is better gas mileage. I'll take the latter.
