Welcome! Fitting into an underground parking garage was also a strong criteria that set the RL high on the list of possible daily drivers for me! I have just an RTL and find it the most car like truck I've sat in. Granted, never been to Australia, so haven't been in or seen a Ute. The closest thing here might be an old El Camino.

Congrats on your RTL-E (in the best color available ) post some photos when you get a chance!

I will do so. We have snowy sloppy roads, so it's beautiful paint is covered in road grime. I got the beige interior. A first for me. Hope I keep it clean.

I love my -E, although I went for the dark grey (Modern Steel Metallic, I think, is the official name). As long as you're happy, that's all that matters!

700 miles and loving it. I had a chance at the auto show to sit in the Colorado, and I feel the RL is more roomy. I was surprised because the Colorado looks bigger on the outside. The center console felt really high creating a sense of being enclosed and separated from the passenger side. Maybe it was all optical illusion. Anyhow, the GM products were on my shopping list, but I couldn't find one equipped as I would like for the price I wanted.
