Projectors : 2 x D2S 3.0That. Looks. Sick.
Can I see some pics of the cut off? What projectors/bulbs/ballasts did you use?
I think the turn signals still look plenty bright. I had them blinking in the day and at night and stood far away to see how they looked. I thought they seemed totally functional. I don't see any problems with that being black now.Looks great! How well do the turn signals light up in the black housing?
Can I recommend 4300/4500/5000k?Projectors : 2 x D2S 3.0
Ballasts: 2 x D2S: Morimoto 3Five
Bulbs: 2 x D2S: XB35 5500K
The light is way more blue than I thought it would be. Doesn't look super blue on the headlights themselves but the light coming from them seems blue on the road.
No pics of cutoff right now. It looks like I am casting a batman symbol on the road. Not aligned at all yet. That will be my weekend project, fixing my batman symbol into a straight line.
I didn't really think about other options of bulbs when I did all this. I am going to get the Osram 66240 NightBreakers. I don't really like the blue look and it doesn't match my fog lights very well. Hopefully the 4300k looks more white than blue. Also they say they produce way more light. Merry Christmas to me! $190 light bulbs! Can I recommend 4300/4500/5000k?
Personally I like 4500k. It's the closest to white that most bulbs can get.
I await more pics!
You will like them much better. Should be no blue in them.I didn't really think about other options of bulbs when I did all this. I am going to get the Osram 66240 NightBreakers. the xb are the best that they make atm.I have the base Osram bulbs and zero blue color. Are the XB 35 bulbs the latest revision?
