I had the Dealer install the Honda Harness.
Then I installed the Hidden Hitch today- got it from our friend on e-bay!
Shipped fast and installed easy. Had a friend help and took about 30 min.
I printed out the H&A official install guide- It was helpful and very clear.
One bolt was a little hard to get in- needed a little push to line up the last hole.

Then I had to figure out where to mount the wire - I drilled into the frame by the bumper and mounted it with 2 self tapping stainless screws.
I know it’s a little far from the hitch- but I have long wires on my trailers and keep an extension in the trunk. It was hard to get it closer because of the size of the hitch tubing and the 7pin connector. I dint want to mount it to the bottom of the tube- it hung so low that it looked like it could get knocked off.

What do you think?

Hey Ridger....Great job on the install. I installed the Honda wiring and the Hidden-Hitch as well. Looks like you mounted the connector EXACTLY where I am planning to. Cheers.

Its not a lease- I drive way too many miles for work.
I'm not worried about rust - it is just two small holes.
I could put some grease on the screws- any thoughts?

To prevent any possible rust, I plan to put a thick coat of touch up paint on both the screws and the edges of the holes as well. Then reassemble while the paint is wet. When the paint dries, this should also serve as sort of a locktite as well.
