Honda's dictum of only making vehicles that handle like a sporty car.

"Our goal is to come up with concepts that make people say, 'Why didn't anyone think of this before?'," Odagaki said.

"That's what's unique about Honda and that's where our strength lies."

Right on, Odagaki

I didn't know that was Honda's dictum. I drove the Honda Element EX manual, and it did handle like a sporty car. The Ridgeline is also pretty sporty. I'm really coming to love this company.

Nice article. It gives some insight towards how Honda 'thinks' when designing products.
