Lots of creative work there. The exposed front suspension and the mid-gate with the reversible seats have some serious cool-factor...that is hopelessly impractical.

Agree on both points. Very cool designs, but it looks like (if it was ever made) would be an auto show prototype that never sees production.

It might be a nice rig if they cleaned it up and toned it down a bit. I see some Honda ROAV in there.

Slap it on GM's Ultium platform and I might be interested.

I've seen a lot of engineering go into the BEV3 Ultium platform - I'm actually not afraid of it. As a former GM geek who drank Honda's Kool-Aid which later turned sour, I could see Ultium bringing me back to GM in the future.

Honda has announced a full EV lineup by 2040 with a large SUV EV for MY2024 using GM’s Ultium battery.

The "large" SUV should be similar in size to the Cadillac Lyriq and Acura version which will be built at a GM plant in the US. The Honda version will be hecho en Mexico.

Just not seeing a large SUV with under 500 miles of range selling very well. Does $59K for the Caddy buy the 300 mile range battery?

I've only seen mention of a single battery for the Lyriq - a 100 kWh assembly with a "more than 300 mile" range.

So it's the first electric truck that I sort of like. I think the rear suicide doors are pretty cool. Bed looks pretty small though.
